About Me

Hi! My name is Leandra Garcia, I am a 23-year-old communications professional and proud New Mexico native. My journey began with four years in the Air Force as a Public Affairs Airman (2020-2024), where I was trained at the Defense Information School as a mass communicator which prepared me for years of complex media campaigns for the F-35A Lightning II.  

During my service I got to do some extraordinary things! I am most proud of earning the Air Education & Training Command New Photographer of the Year, and Commentary of the Year in 2023. Today, I am leveraging that expertise as a Photographer, Account Manager and Media Buyer at a local Public Affairs firm, focusing on dynamic government accounts across the Space, Defense, and Energy sectors! I am also actively working toward my B.S. in Integrated Marketing & Communication from the University of West Alabama.   

When I am not working I am spending time with my Maltese Yuki, reading fantasy novels, listening to my vinyl record collection or taking polaroid photos! I love physical media and am trying to bring that into my work as much as possible.
